Central Remedial Clinic - Timeline of controversy

November, 2013:

It emerges that the HSE failed to end an arrangement where former CRC chief executive Paul Kiely was paid total salary of €242,000 including a 'top-up' of €136,000 from a fundraising arm of the charity Friends and Supporters of the CRC.

*It was revealed that five other senior managers had similar top-up arrangements.

December 2013:

*Then-chief executive Brian Conlon - who wasn't paid a top-up - resigns.

*Mr Kiely faces questioning by TDs at the Public Accounts Committee

*Chairman Jim Nugent and the entire board of the CRC resign over the controversy.

January 2014:

*Mr Kiely's total pension package is revealed to be €742,000, after a HSE audit.

May 2014:

*New board and chief executive appointed to CRC
