Blaze at derelict building in city

Emergency services attended a fire on the south side of Dublin city today.

Early morning traffic was affected as Dublin Fire Brigade were on the scene at Fumbally Lane, off New Street in Dublin 8, just after 6am.

A spokesperson for Dublin Fire Brigade said that a crew attended the derelict building with three units and an extendable turntable ladder.

The fire was brought under control within the hour.

There were no reports of injuries.
