As gaeilge alarm rings a bell with Aoibhinn
Academic and prominent gaeilgoir Aoibhinn Ní Shuilleabhain has given her seal of approval to a new home alarm system that speaks as gaeilge.
"For all the people out there using Irish in their own homes, I think it's important that there's a service like this," she said.
The product was launched at the HKC headquarters in Ballymount, Dublin.
"I think this is a very positive message this company is sending out as there are Irish people all over the country and even in the UK who could use this product," said Minister of State Joe McHugh.
HKC owner and MD Gerard Kelly said: "The system will cost the same as its English-speaking counterpart. It will be available at the end of next month."
