Angela hoofing to the stores for Lennon/Courtney
FROM Amy Huberman to Angela Scanlon, it seems all our celebrities want a little piece of Lennon/Courtney these days.
And newly married Angela has scheduled a fitting with Brendan and Sonya after deciding to wear one of their designs to the RDS Dublin Horse Show.
She'll be joining esteemed milliner Philip Treacy as she helps judge Ladies Day at the event next Thursday, with drinks scheduled afterwards in the Dylan Hotel.
A delighted Brendan told the Diary they don't yet know which outfit she's going to wear, but they'll have a trying-on session to help her find the perfect ensemble.
And he and Sonya will be joining the hordes making the pilgrimage west this week to catch some of the action at the Galway Races.
The pair will be at the Meyrick Hotel in Galway city as they help pick a winner at the Most Stylish Lady event. With some super prizes up for grabs, competition is expected to be stiff among the fine fillies.
"I'm looking forward to Galway, it's always pretty wild down there," he said.
"We're looking for somebody who's a little bit classic but has their own little personal take on their outfit. We don't care if it's high street or designer.
"Fashion is so democratic these days that it doesn't really matter."
Their edgy label has been going down a storm with fashionistas, with plans to even expand into America.
"Nothing has been green-lighted yet, but we have been actively talking to a few people, we've been back and forth to the States so we'll wait and see," he continued. "I'm so proud of it."
They're so busy, they're already working on their spring/summer 2015 collection. Their label is stocked in Arnotts along with a stand-alone store on Stephen's Street, which lets customers meet the pair personally.
