AIB to launch talking ATMs
AIB is to make up to 600 street ATMs accessible to visually impaired people by adding new audio technology to the dispensers.
The bank is also seeking to introduce Skype-style video calls between staff and customers in a bid to use more technology in its daily operations.
The new ATMs will include earphone ports to allow visually impaired customers withdraw money and check balances. Video connections are also being rolled out in branches.
