AIB staff fear sack

THE head of bank officials union IBOA has criticised AIB for not making its long-term plan clear to staff.

AIB has outlined that it will reduce headcount by 2,000.

But the bank has yet to outline how, leaving staff at the lender in limbo, according to IBOA. Meanwhile, Fianna Fail public expenditure spokesman Sean Fleming TD urged the Government to use the recent massive cash windfall of €1.123bn from the sale of ordinary shares in Bank of Ireland to fund job creation.
