AIB picks new chief
AIB has appointed British banker David Hodgkinson as executive chairman of the bank.
Mr Hodgkinson (right) will replace Dan O'Connor, who stepped down after the Government announced the second bailout of AIB last month.
Minister for Finance Brian Lenihan welcomed the appointment, saying that he brings a "wealth of international banking experience to this role and his leadership will be critical in enabling AIB to overcome its current challenges".
AIB managing director Colm Doherty will step down in the coming weeks.
