A dream home for a Game of Thrones fan

If you are a Game of Thrones fan and have a few million euro spare then your dream house has come on the market.

Harlech House in Goatstown, with a price tag of €2.35m, has a spectacular hand-crafted steel gate replicating a dragon.

The eight-
bedroom house is
described as being "totally
unique," as the home is filled with hand-crafted steel work.

The website description also said that it is "without doubt one of the most imaginative and beautiful period homes to come to the Dublin market in recent years."

It was originally built in 1798 and is set on nearly one acre of land.

However, it underwent a massive renovation and redesign between 1993 and 2000.

Master craftsmen from around the world were brought in to help out with redesign, including French blacksmiths and Ireland's best known glass artist Roisin de Buitlear.

Handmade tiles cover the entire back of the house and a series of mosaic murals are located inside the property.

Its intricate dragon gates are well-known in the Goatstown area and the house is located down a quiet cul-de-sac alongside typical semi-detached and detached homes.
