50,000 more to vote

An extra 50,000 people have been included on the supplementary register so they can vote in tomorrow's General Election.

It is understood the majority of the 50,000 registered to vote since the beginning of this month, which is a jump on the extra voters for the previous election.

These include about 6,400 added in Dublin City, 2,900 in Dun Laoghaire, 1,800 in Fingal and 1,700 in South Dublin.
