SOMEBODY, somewhere may be celebrating today -- after the biggest lottery jackpot in world history.
The total was set to hit at least $640m (¤480m) in the Mega Millions draw in the US last night.
Buyers queued for up to two hours to buy the last $1 tickets.
Odds of winning are 175 million-to-1, said Margaret DeFrancisco, president and chief executive of the Georgia Lottery Corporation. But it will be later today before organisers know if anyone has won.
