47 students get Life honour
A total of 47 students graduated with flying colours from a Learning For Life programme that helps long-term unemployed.
The Tanaiste Joan Burton presented the participants with their credentials from the Diago Ireland programme yesterday.
The scheme aims to equip young unemployed people with the skills needed to find work in the hospitality sector. The participants have the opportunity of a six-week work placement with a Diageo hospitality industry partner.
