IRISH business Lir Chocolates has signed a €1m deal to supply a custom line of Easter eggs for a supermarket giant.
Tesco Finest own-brand Easter eggs in Ireland and the UK this year will be made by the Navan-based firm.
And €900,000 worth of the deal relates to Easter eggs exported for sale in the UK.
Founded in 1987 and producing a range of premium confectionery, the Irish company has been working with Tesco for more than 10 years.
It already supplies a number of Tesco own-brand and Lir branded lines.
