Roz Purcell eyes up opening cooking school as demand for classes leaves her 'shocked'
MODEL and foodie Roz Purcell has now set her sights on opening up her own cookery school.
The food blogger (24) said a school of her own is a possibility after being shocked by the demand for her upcoming cookery demonstration.
Despite there being only 20 places available, almost 350 fans put their names down for the event in just a few hours after Roz plugged it on Instagram.
"It's something I've been meaning to do for ages because so many people have kept mailing me and asking me if I would," she told the Herald.
"I really couldn't believe the response - in the space of a night I had received nearly 350 enquiries about it.
"A cookery school would be far down the line because there is a long list of things I want to do before that, but it's definitely something I would look towards doing."
As well as writing her first cookery book, the former Miss Universe Ireland said she wouldn't rule out her own cookery show.
"Of course I'd love to have one but at the moment I'm just working away and if one comes, one comes," she said.
Since joining forces with Dublin cafe Mooch to sell some of her healthy recipes, the Tipperary native admitted to surprising customers by cooking for them herself.
While she's enjoying her time in the kitchen, Roz said she has no plans to open her own restaurant.
"I'm only 24, there's a lot more things I want to do before I get tied down to a premises and things like that," she said.
"I'm getting the best of both worlds at the moment."
