Marriage isn't for me, reveals Xpose's Aisling O'Loughlin
Xpose host Aisling O'Loughlin has revealed that she has no plans to tie the knot with her long-term love.
The presenter (37), who has two children with her photographer other half Nick McInnes, has said that marriage isn't for her.
"We are not religious. We are both flighty types - we could change our minds at any minute - so it's good to have a get-out clause," she said.
Aisling added that the cost of a wedding was also a factor in the couple's decision.
"You need a massive budget to get married and we just have other things we want to spend the money on," she explained.
"I'm not against marriage, I think it's beautiful and it's the ultimate romantic expression, but it's not for me."
Aisling, who is mum to Patrick (3) and Louis (1), also opened up about the struggles of raising children.
"There are days when you lose your patience and there are days when you are overtired," she told a Sunday newspaper.
"Your patience snaps or you might shout or respond to something in a way you know wasn't a cool or appropriate way to respond.
"There are a million and one things that we should be doing - and we know what we should be doing - but sometimes life gets in the way.
"Everything is fine and I love my kids, but at the same time I have challenges, I have obstacles, there are days when I am not the best parent," she added.
