Charity doyenne Norma Smurfit has put out 'a call for stalls' as she launches her second Spring Clean for Charity Sale which will take place in the RDS this Sunday to raise funds for St Vincent de Paul.
elebrities who have committed to running fashion stalls to raise funds include entrepreneur Jackie Lavin, TV personality Lorraine Keane, stylist Lisa Fitzpatrick and fashion designer Deborah Veale -- see details and prices on some of the fab things they will be selling below.
Nearly 100 people have already signed up for stalls, and will spring clean their houses with their friends and families and sell their unwanted treasures to raise charity funds.
Chief fundraiser Norma says: "Following the success of the event last year, which saw over 5,000 people attend and raised in excess of €80,000, this year's charity sale will be bigger and better."

As well as selling her own clothes in the RDS on Sunday, TV presenter Lorraine will be calling in favours from her favourite boutiques and designers. She says; "I'll have stock from Seagreen in Monkstown and Divine Boutique and the likes of Fran and Jane. I hope to repeat last year's success and raise €5,000."
Preen pink bandage dress: "I wore a Preen green dress to the launch of Xpose, and Amy Winehouse has the only other one, which she wore with a black bra showing. I've loved the label ever since." Original price €700 but bought in a sale for €250, charity price €100.
Lisa, one of the city's most in-demand stylists, says: "As much as I love clothes, what better way to spring clean than to sell them for charity."
White and black tailored dress from Diffusion in Clontarf: "I wore this dress to the Punchestown races and felt a million dollars in it." Lisa got it as a gift, and the charity price is €80.
Black beads worn with Diffusion dress: "I bought these in a market in London when I worked there, and they are a perfect length to wear with any dress." Original price is long forgotten, charity price €20.
Fashion designer Deborah Veale dresses well-known faces such as Kathryn Thomas, Pamela Flood, Miriam O'Callaghan, and President Mary McAleese. She'll be selling her own designs at knock-down prices.
Coral chiffon silk dress, with three silver bands on the waist, and calf length: "This is ideal for a summer wedding." Original price €350, charity price €150.
Businesswoman Jackie Lavin is co-owner of Muckross Park Hotel and a judge on TV3's The Apprentice. The former model says: "My prices will be good on the day, because that's the point, to give women the best value and to raise money for St Vincent de Paul."
Blue beaded Maricano dress: "I bought this in the States for about $400 and have never worn it, so the buyer is getting as good as new." Original price €290 approx, charity price €50.
