Stylish way to boost cancer charity

Fashion lovers will have a unique opportunity to meet British designer Daniel Blake later this week when he showcases his new collection in Dublin.

He will unveil the collection in the Herbert Park Hotel in Ballsbridge on Saturday, March 26 from 12 noon to 10pm.

Guests will have the opportunity to meet the designer and select pieces from Daniel's new collection and have them made to order.

The glam event is in aid of the Cancer Clinical Research Trust at St Vincent's University Hospital. There'll be a donation from every sale to the charity, which helps cancer sufferers conquer the illness, like Kylie Minogue did (left).

Daniel Blake is a contemporary womenswear label. The collection combines creative cutting and construction in unique luxury fabrication. Daniel manufactures exclusively in London and has previously presented at London Fashion Week. He describes his clothing as "timeless, investment pieces". From his debut launch collection in 2004, Daniel has worked with many boutiques in Ireland.

Dublin, therefore, seemed like the obvious place to launch this new concept, enabling clients to work with the designer on their specific requirements.
