DO YOU GO TO THE GYM OR CLASSES?
Yes, twice a week I go to a personal trainer at BodyByrne Personal Training in town. We do weights combined with cardio. It's pretty tough, but absolutely worth it. I always feel great afterwards. I also attend Pilates classes with Mags Clark-Smith in Kilmacanogue once or twice a week. I love Pilates as it really builds abdominal strength, suppleness and good posture.
DO YOU TAKE VITAMINS OR SUPPLEMENTS?
I try to get everything I need from a good, well-rounded diet, but as I'm a vegetarian I take vitamin B12 and if I'm feeling run-down I take vitamin C and echinacea.
HAVE YOU EVER BEEN IN HOSPITAL?
Only a few times thankfully, for the removal of my tonsils when I was four, and a couple of times since for minor fractures.
WHAT WAS YOUR WORST ILLNESS?
I woke up on my fourth birthday with chicken pox! That wasn't the best gift I've ever received.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE CURE?
For a hangover? Don't drink in the first place! I have a few tricks to ensure I never get a hangover -- I always make sure I drink at least three pints of water throughout the night. The next morning I take a sachet of dioralyte along with more water to rehydrate and a couple of milk thistle tablets which help support the liver. Fresh fruit also helps with dipping blood sugar levels.
DO YOU GET YOUR FIVE A DAY? Yes I do, I love fruit and veggies and always have the fridge stocked with spinach, broccoli, tomatoes, blueberries and apples.
ANY VICES? Shoes! Nothing too naughty otherwise, I don't smoke and I drink in moderation.
DO YOU DIET? I follow a high-protein, low-carbohydrate diet and focus on eating healthy fats and minimal sugar and salt. I also try to eat six small meals a day to ensure my body is never without energy to burn.
HOW MANY HOURS' SLEEP DO YOU NEED? I usually get seven hours, which is perfect for me.
DO YOU HAVE ANY HEALTH GOALS? I always aim to be as fit and healthy as I can be, and avoid picking up any colds or illnesses. I'm currently studying biomedicine and nutrition which makes me more aware of what's going into my body.
DO YOU SMOKE OR HAVE YOU EVER SMOKED? Thankfully, I've never smoked.
WHAT IS FAVOURITE LEISURE ACTIVITY? I love spending time with friends and family, plus I regularly go out running to relax and clear my head.
