My Health

What was the last thing you ate?

An apple.

Do you go to the gym or classes?

I go running and enjoy pilates -- along with riding about eight horses a day which keeps me pretty fit!

Do you take vitamins or supplements?

No, but I do eat very healthily. I would snack a lot to keep my energy levels up while horse-riding and training and I make sure I'm always well hydrated.

What foods always go in your shopping trolley?

Celery, decaf tea and coffee, spinach, tuna, tomatoes and fat-free yogurt. And biscuits for an odd treat!

Have you ever been in hospital?

I was airlifted to hospital after a fall off my horse but it was a false alarm and I came out without even a bruise.

What was your worst illness?

Touch wood, I have never been ill.

What is your favourite cure?

I'm too busy getting ready for the Olympics to go out drinking. I think tea is a great cure for everything.

Would you get your five a day?


What is your favourite meal to cook?

Anything with chicken, and I love roasted vegetables. To relax in between training I've been taking classes at the Village at Lyons cookery school to improve my skills.

Any vices?

I bite my nails.

Ever dieted?

My life is a diet!

Any family ailments?

No, thankfully.

How many hours sleep do you get?

A good eight a night and I try to get more when I can.

Do you have any health goals?

No I'm pretty healthy at the moment so I hope to maintain that.

Do you smoke or have you ever smoked?

No, I don't smoke.
