I've been in hospital a few times. I had to go in for my wisdom teeth, plus a double hernia, knee reconstruction, three foot operations ... and to give birth.

My worst illness has to be post-viral fatigue in 1998. I didn't run well in the Europeans and couldn't run in the Commonwealths and had to rest for two months.

Sleeping, laughing and spending time with the family. Plus chewing raw garlic can help, although people don't tend to want to come near you!
