Okay, so, you probably want more information, as in, what in the world is HD Brows?
HD stands for High Definition and, oh yeah, are those brows highly defined or what?
The procedure has seven steps: assessment of the client's face shape in order to design a brow to suit; tinting to even out the colour of the hair; waxing; threading; tweezing; trimming; and finishing, which entails soothing lotion and application of colour to cover any pinkness of skin. But this was the least painful eyebrow treatment I've ever had, and there was barely any reaction.
Getting the threading, waxing and tweezing all-in-one treatment is what sets this apart from other approaches to eyebrow grooming.
The flexibility to use, say, waxing on one part of the brow and threading on another really allows the technician to achieve what suits your face best. I really felt like my brows were being tailored every step of the way.
There was no pain -- there was only gain. I was a little freaked by how dark the tint made my brows look for the first day, but they toned down, and now? Now I hate the idea of the colour ever fading entirely away . . .
I got my treatment at Carter Beauty in Blackrock; if that's not your locality, then google HD Brows for a salon near you.
Seriously: I have been on a 'I need to mind my brows' kick for at least a year now, and I encourage you to do the same.
A good brow transforms your whole face and if you feel like you're in the mood for a new look, I couldn't recommend this more highly.
€50 for initial treatment. See www.carterbeauty.ie for more information
