DO YOU GO TO THE GYM OR CLASSES?
I am not a big fan of the gym, but I enjoy Pilates and walking my dog.
DO YOU TAKE VITAMINS OR SUPPLEMENTS?
No, I try to eat a healthy, well-balanced diet.
HAVE YOU EVER BEEN IN HOSPITAL?
Yes, a few times. I have ongoing back problems and have been treated by the excellent staff in St Vincent's Hospital. When I was younger I had hearing problems and spent some time in Temple Street. Plus, a trip to Cherry Orchard Hospital to treat meningitis during my teens.
WHAT WAS YOUR WORST ILLNESS?
I had meningitis when I was about 16 and spent almost a month in Cherry Orchard Hospital. I don't remember much about the first two weeks as I was very sick.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE CURE?
Vitamin C with lemon and honey in some hot water.
DO YOU GET YOUR FIVE A DAY?
I love all types of vegetables and really enjoy eating them as part of my diet. I try to add plenty of vegetables to everyday dishes such as stir-frys and soups. I probably could eat more fruit, but in general I would get my five a day.
Following a busy week, my weekend treat is to order a spicy Indian takeaway, followed by some delicious Ben & Jerry's ice cream while curled up in front of a good movie.
No, I really love my food so I never diet. But I enjoy reading all about what the celebs like to eat.
ANY FAMILY AILMENTS?
Like most Irish families, we have been touched by cancer and heart disease but in general my family are fit and healthy.
HOW MANY HOURS OF SLEEP DO YOU NEED A NIGHT?
I find as I get older I try to get more sleep, so on average I would aim to get at least eight hours of sleep.
DO YOU HAVE ANY HEALTH GOALS?
I am hoping to swim regularly in the new year. I am currently looking for a local pool that is convenient.
WHAT IS YOURFAVOURITE LEISURE ACTIVITY?
Walking. I really love walking in the Dublin Mountains with my dog. It is my favourite thing to do.
