Each night he'll interview guests from the world of entertain-ment and sport in his inimitable style, with regular comment-ators on hand for a bit of banter and an irreverent look at the events of the day.

TROUBLE IN STORE

Alex Polizzi -- The Fixer

BBC2, 8pm Alex tries to turn around the fortunes of a fancy-dress business in trouble in Essex.

She soon identifies several problems -- owner Adele has too much stock, with thousands of items filling the shop, garages and outhouses, while her mother, Joy, cannot stand the customers touching the goods.

How will they cope with a grand relaunch on Halloween, their busiest day of the year?

Crash of the Century

TV3, 10pm Fortunately, plane crashes are rare but when they happen they make headline news.

This is a reconstruction of events in March 1977, when two planes collided on a runway at Los Rodeos Airport in Tenerife, killing 583 people -- the highest number of fatalities caused by any single accident in aviation history.
