The country went crazy when a crisp sandwich café launched in Belfast last month - and now Dublin is set to get a taste of the magic.

Tayto will open the doors of a crisp sandwich pop-up in the capital this March, catering for those who yearn for a salty retro sandwich.

On the menu in the Wicklow Street shop will be four sandwiches each showcasing a classic flavour: Cheese and Onion, Salt and Vinegar, Smokey Bacon and Prawn Cocktail.

Homeless

The sambos will cost €2 and Tayto will donate €1 from each sale to the Dublin Simon Community.

Sam McGuinness from Dublin Simon Community said: "Tayto customers will help raise vital funds so that we can continue providing services to people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness."

The pop-up will run from March 5 to March 15.
