A pick 'n' mix of tastes and tipples
Something different for the weekend
Tonight is the second last night of the second annual Dublin Cocktail Festival, which has been taking place all week across many of the capital's bars and restaurants. If you're heading out on the town this evening, purchase a special wristband in any participating outlet and enjoy 30pc off signature cocktails in the likes of Diep Le Shaker, Meeting House, Peruke and Periwig and many more.

For organic and local produce and a ramble around some gorgeous stalls, head to Newmarket in Dublin 8 on Saturday and Sunday. There's lots of fresh food on offer direct from the supplier and if that's not a big enough draw, it's located next to the new Teeling's distillery that offers tours every hour.
