SHE is a strict vegan and no doubt animal lover Rosanna Davison will be delighted to hear a rescued bullock has been named after her and her hubbie.

The 30-year-old and her new husband Wes Quirke are bound to receive a wide array of wedding gifts, but PETA’s may be the most unique.

The non-profit organisation has renamed a rescued Indian bull Davison Quirke’ in honour of the couple.

He will spend the rest of his days in peace relaxing at Animal Rahat, a sanctuary in Maharashtra, India, that is partly funded by PETA.

“Rosanna works hard to spread a message of compassion towards animals, so it seems fitting that her joyous occasion would coincide with the joy that Davison Quirke is experiencing, thanks to his new-found freedom”, said PETA Associate Director Mimi Bekhechi.

“The bullock who now bears her and her husband’s names, will never again be forced into hard labour or abused because he wasn’t hauling an unbearably heavy load quickly enough.”

Former Miss World Rosanna will walk down the aisle again this weekend, in front of family and friends in Ibiza.

The daughter of Lady In Red singer Chris De Burgh, will then host another bash back in Ireland next month. For more information, please visit PETA.org.uk.
