RTE1, 10.20pm Hugh Butler's life changed completely when the then 19-year-old business student (below) was diagnosed with a life-threatening brain tumour. The deadly growth was removed, but the fight to achieve some sort of normal life had only begun.

The story of Ayeisha Grogan, who had much of her skull removed after a horrific road accident, is equally heartbreaking, in this insight into the much-praised National Rehabilitation Centre in Dun Laoghaire.
