Una would be fab on Voice, admits Kathryn Thomas
Voice of Ireland presenter Kathryn Thomas has said that she would love to have The Saturday's Una Foden take a place on the judge's panel for this year's show.
"She'd be brilliant," Kathryn told the Herald.
"She's succeeded and she's been part of a phenomenally successful girl group and she's ultra hot.
"She has great fashion sense and so I'd love to see her on the show," she added.
The Saturday's singer is currently pregnant with her second child with her rugby star husband Ben Foden and it is not yet known if she will be available to take on the role.
Jamelia (33) recently quit the show after being a judge on the series for two years.
An inside source said that the UK performer's manager and the programme's producers couldn't agree on a deal for her third stint on the show.
The Birmingham-based star was believed to be looking for a better financial deal, to make up for the commute from the UK to Dublin every weekend.
However, the RTE show did not have the budget to meet her request.
The mum-of-two is now the second female judge to quit the show in recent months, following on from Dolores O'Riordan's decision not to come back.
Kathryn (35) said it was a pity that the Superstar singer wouldn't be returning to the show.
"I'm sorry to see that Jamelia (inset) has backed out. She was really popular with the viewers and I've read that it was down to finance and then I also read that it was because she had other commitments but I just don't know," she admitted.
"But I'm really excited for the blind auditions which start on October 15," she added.
