TV3's baby boom goes on as Sybil to have number 3
THERE must be something in the water at TV3 as another top presenter has announced she is expecting a bundle of joy.
Sybil Mulcahy is the broadcaster's fifth high-profile employee to become pregnant in the past 12 months.
The Morning Show host is expecting her third child and admits she's thrilled at the prospect.
In what now seems to be a booming trend at the station since brunette Colette Fitzpatrick gave birth last year, Sybil revealed yesterday she is expecting another child with her husband Hugh and is happy to sign up to the telly mummies club of 2011.
The pair already have two children, Hugh and Genevieve, and have said they are thrilled to welcome another addition to their family.
Ballsbridge-native Sybil -- who married her hubby in 2004 -- is due to give birth in March and couldn't look better as she sets off on her pregnancy journey. "I am absolutely delighted and I just can't wait to be a mum again," the 34-year-old said, despite having a hectic schedule ahead of her in the coming months.
But the former Xpose presenter can look forward to swapping food cravings and pregnancy stories with her Ballymount colleagues Andrea Hayes, Victoria O'Brien, Anna Daly and Aisling O'Loughlin, as she prepares for her new addition.
And Martin King's bubbly co-host will be looking to take back some of her maternity clothes which she lent to good pal Aisling (32).
UCG graduate Sybil -- who joined the TV3 team as a reporter 11 years ago -- has been a fantastic help to Co Clare native Aisling, who is set to embrace motherhood for the first time in December.
"Everyone has been great, but Sybil has been especially fantastic -- she brought in bags of stuff for me to wear as I get bigger," red-head Aisling told the Herald last week.
"We have a similar style anyway, so it has worked out well. I think it's important not to get too caught up in buying too many things."
Aislng revealed she was having a boy in June and has loved every minute of her pregnancy -- with experienced mum Sybil on hand for advice.
