The big one

Britain's Got Talent Final

TV3, UTV, 7pm and 9.30pm The 10 finalists take to the stage one last time. Simon, Amanda (below), Michael and David nudge the swingometer of support, and the public take their turn in deciding who's to come out on top.

We'll know the final results at 9.30pm. Apart from bagging the £100,000 prize, a slot at the Royal Variety Performance is awarded to the lucky winner.

THE FEAR FACTOR

Casualty

BBC1, 8.20pm We learn a bit more about what happened to Mads when the man who assaulted her is brought into the ED. Facing her terror she must tend to his wounds.

Meanwhile, nurse Linda Andrews returns to the unit and Waterloo Road's Christine Tremarco joins the cast.

NET CLOSING IN

Dr Who

BBC1, 6.40pm This is the mid-series finale before it returns in the autumn. Amy is kidnapped and in a cell at the Stormcage, River Song acknowledges the approach of the Battle Of Demons Run, the conflict which will force the Doctor to confront his deepest demons.

The Doc continues on the trail of Amy raising an army but as he and Rory traipse across galaxies calling in favours, he is unaware that he is straying into a carefully concealed trap.

WINNER ALRIGHT

The Big Money Game

RTE1, 8.15pm It's cash, cash, cash, all the way, as Derek Mooney seems determined to dispense largesse on a grand scale.

There is, of course, the top prize of €250,000 to be won over six nail-biting games, while there are a host of other prizes ranging from €4,000 to €10,000 and a car worth €15,000 up for grabs. One player will get the chance to play Safe Cracker with prizes ranging from €10,000 to €50,000.
