That's a real baby bump for Fair City mum-to-be Suzanne

THERE'S no acting involved when it comes to Fair City's Sarah Flood and her baby bump.

The actress is set to temporarily disappear from our screens as she is expecting a baby -- just like her character Suzanne Doyle.

Sarah (30), already has a three- year-old daughter with husband Laurence Flood (32) and the happy couple will be welcoming a new baby within days.

A source revealed that the talented actress has just gone on maternity leave and will take a temporary break from the popular RTE soap, as she did after the birth of her daughter, Jennifer Molly.

"Sarah and Larry are just delighted to be having another child, a friend for little Jennifer," a source told the Herald.

"Sarah is resting at home now, waiting for the baby to arrive."

Sarah, who has featured on the RTE soap for over 20 years, first met Larry in Australia when she took a year out of the soap to travel for 12 months in 2003 and admitted it was love at first sight for the pair.

Abusive

Sarah's character, Suzanne Doyle, is also pregnant.

Suzanne, who was exposed last year for being physically abusive towards her then-husband Damien, is expecting a child with David Osbourne, played by Mat Fraser.

He was born with shortened arms after his pregnant mother was prescribed Thalidomide and is the first actor with a disability of this kind to star in the hit Irish soap.
