Dara and Ed continue their big South American adventure, Everton clash with Young Boys and Fortitude's killer is finally identified

Dara and Ed's Big Adventure

RTE1, 10.15pm

Ed Byrne and Dara O Briain continue their journey as they arrive at Lake Atitlan in

Guatemala, and pay their respects to the Mayan deity Maximon. Dara learns about the dangers of the highways, and discovers how travellers are regularly robbed by gangs. They then visit the ancient colonial city of Antigua, before

scaling the nearby active Pacaya volcano. As the pair arrive in El Salvador, they learn first hand about the gangs that make it one of the most violent countries in Central America, before heading to their final stop on this leg at Lake Nicaragua.

 

Fortitude

Sky Atlantic, 9pm 

A fingernail discovered inside Stoddart’s body identifies the killer and sends shock waves through the community, and Morton then turns his attention to the death a few months earlier of scientist Billy Pettigrew. Elsewhere, Henry asks taxidermist Tavrani for help, Markus tries to nurse and feed his girlfriend Shirley through an illness and Ronnie is still on the run. Thriller, starring Stanley Tucci and Sophie Grabol

 Matt Smith presents all the action from the last-32 second-leg encounter at Goodison Park, where Everton begin with a 4-1 lead from the first leg. The Toffees have struggled domestically this term, but will expect to maintain their impressive European form and earn a place in the next round. With analysis from Steven Gerrard, Gordon Strachan and Peter Reid, and commentary by Clive Tyldesley and Andy Townsend. Subsequent programmes are subject to change.

As Lance tries to work out the truth about  Daniel, Henry takes a final, desperate chance to win his ex-boyfriend back, but with the lure of Canal Street calling, and Lance spellbound by his new man, it may be too late for any of them to change paths. Cyril Nri, Vincent Franklin and James Murray star in Russell T Davies’ drama.
