Directed by Martin Scorsese, this Oscar-winning gangster movie stars the powerhouse combination of Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon and Jack Nicholson. Two men with divided loyalties criss-cross the criminal divide, resulting in violence and bloodshed. Set among the Boston Irish, this edgy thriller suffers somewhat from an over complicated plot.

It's A big day for Irish rugby fans as Declan Kidney's men take on Scotland at Croke Park before returning to Irish rugby's spiritual home on Lansdowne Road.

Meanwhile, Wales play Italy (kick-off, 2.30pm) and England take on France (kick-off, 7.45pm). If the English side whup the French in their own backyard it would really do Ireland a big favour in the Six Nations league table.



GO FOR IT

RTE1, 8.30pm

All eyes will be on party leader Enda Kenny who badly needs a blood-and-guts performance if he's to recover in the opinion polls. All the figures show FG are flying high and are well set to be in government after the next election. But the party leader trails in the polls.
