Sex And The City star Sarah Jessica Parker (below) traces her family tree, and inevitably comes across the odd skeleton. She always assumed her ancestors were fairly recent immigrants to the US -- but is shocked to learn that one of them was involved in one of the most terrifying events in American history.

Tina stuns the Platts with a shock-horror announcement which has consequences all round. David's hope that Gail's case will be thrown out before it gets to court comes seriously unstuck as the testimony of a certain witness changes everything.



DIFFERENT WORLDS

How The Other Half Live Channel 4, 9pm

Nine-year-old Reece, plus his mum and dad, are about to move into their new home. It has all the trappings of luxury, complete with a pool room and cinema. But in the badlands of a deprived estate in South London things are much different for 13-year-old Miguel. As always, this intriguing programme provides a stark and chilling reminder of the inequalities of life.



BLACK MAGIC

The Skeleton Key TV3, 12am

Kate Hudson plays Caroline Ellis, a live-in nurse who's hired to care for an elderly woman's ailing husband in their foreboding and spooky New Orleans mansion.

She stumbles upon a skeleton key that opens every door in the house, unlocking some sinister voodoo magic. The plot is as creaky as the house itself, but Hudson masters her role convincingly. Also starring John Hurt.
