Stars Go Racing

RTE1, 8.30pm More equine antics as the remaining celebrities -- Linda Martin (below), Jean Byrne and Ella McSweeney -- saddle up for a race-off at the Curragh and a place in the final. This week Martin doesn't look her usual assured self and matters turn serious when her behaviour has some people asking if she should in fact be disqualified!



MUSICAL MATTERS

The Glee Project

SKY1, 8pm Some of the seven remaining wanna-glees are left stupefied by the theme of this week's challenge. It's called 'tenacity' and they have no idea what the word means.

However, once they're over that hurdle it's straight back to the singing and dancing. Mentor Max Adler, who plays Dave Karofsky in Glee, doesn't hold back when it comes to telling it like it is.

TV3, 10pm Bryan Murray looks back to a time when Dublin had some of the filthiest, disease-ridden slums in the world. Tonight he explores what it was like to try and land a job at the turn of the century. He also reports on the north inner city's infamous 'Monto' area, allegedly the biggest red-light district in Europe at one time.

Sarah Payne: A Mother's Story

TV3, 9pm Eight-year-old Sarah Payne was murdered by paedophile Roy Whiting while she was playing near the home of her grandparents in the year 2000. Tonight her mother relives the horror and heartbreak of that terrible day and the nightmare that was to follow.
