A SHORT History of Everything Else

Channel 4, 10pm New series. Griff Rhys Jones hosts this comedy panel game show that uses archive clips to test contestants' knowledge of history, with team captains Marcus Brigstocke and Charlie Baker. Kirsty Wark and Micky Flanagan help provide irreverent interpret-ations of events over the past few decades.

TV3, 9pm New series. Three maids of honour compete by throwing hen parties, with the winner securing a cash prize and a honeymoon for the bride and groom.

This first episode sees Suzanne Lawless from Dublin hosting an event for her mother, hoping to beat student Stephanie Dameshghi and Aisling Noonan from Cork.



STREETS AHEAD

The Secret History of our Streets

BBC2, 9pm The series charting the fortunes of London streets focuses on Camberwell Grove in south-east London, which boasts some of the English capital's finest Georgian architecture. Locals tell the story of this remarkable street.
