ONE TO REMEMBER LEARNING THE ROPES FAT CHANCE ON THE MONEY

Ireland's Greatest RTE1, 9.35pm

He is Ireland's biggest contribution to international rock 'n' roll. But why do so many Irish people love to hate Bono (right)? Tonight, Dave Fanning trumpets the cause for the U2 frontman to be named Ireland's Greatest. Dave chronicles Paul Hewson's early days as a struggling musician in Dublin to the singer's humanitarian work around the world.



LEARNING THE ROPES

Spooks BBC1, 9pm

Tonight's plot is told from three different angles and revolves around oil, an African coup and an assassin. Beth Bailey is tasked with her first undercover operation for Section D and must protect arrogant oil baron Robert Westhouse from his various enemies all baying for blood. However, the magnate has been less than forthcoming with the truth.



FAT CHANCE

Jamie's American Food Revolution Channel 4, 10pm

Jamie's culinary crusade has been met with staunch resistance thus far but tonight his two-week healthy eating regime at the local elementary school has proved a rip-roaring success. The food goes down a treat -- but the scheme can only be permanently put in place with an $80,000 investment.



ON THE MONEY

The Apprentice TV3, 9pm

It's clear Bill Cullen revels in his role as the bolshie boss in the boardroom. And why not, given that he plays the role so well? It's still early days in terms of determining a winner, but over the coming weeks the hopefuls with that extra spark will inevitably make their mark.
