Never say die ... Baz Ashmawy has to dream up 50 more ways to kill his mammy

Looks like Baz Ashmawy will have to find a further 50 ways to kill his mammy after Sky announced a second series of the reality show will hit TV screens this year.

The first series was a commercial hit for Baz; it was sold to broadcasters in over 100 territories including France, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark and the Netherlands.

"After all the amazing things Nancy did last series, I'm as surprised as anyone that she's still alive," Baz said.

"Trying to kill my mum was the best fun I've ever had and now I'm thrilled to get the chance to try again."

Baz also fronts Sky's TV series The Fanatics which has recieved positive reviews.

It was announced yesterday that 50 Ways to kill Your Mammy is up for a Royal Television Society Award in the Best Popular Factual and Features category.

Chris O Dowd's Moone Boy' received a nomination in the Best Scripted Comedy section. TV host Graham Norton is up for two awards in the Best Entertainment Performance cateory and Best Entertainment award for his BBC chat show.

Peaky Blinders starring Cillian Murphy is nominated for Best Drama Series. The winners will be announced on March 17.
