Caroline Flack may be the host of Love Island, but she has admitted her matchmaking skills aren't always up to scratch.
The Strictly Come Dancing winner and new X Factor host has been brought in to front the revamped dating series for ITV2.
It sees a group of 12 single men and women sent to a Majorcan villa and then whittled down to just two in a search of a potential new couple who could fall in love.
But Flack said she was not always the best judge of character.
"I've played matchmaker before, a couple of times. Sometimes I get it really wrong. I remember dating a guy once and thinking, 'He's not my type', and I thought, 'but my friend would like him'," she said.
"So I let her go out with him afterwards. She was so insulted, though, after she'd been on the date with him."
She also said that over-the-top romantic gestures were a turn-off.
"I don't like anything too set up, as that can get a bit awkward," she said.
"I went to a hotel with my boyfriend at the time and the hotel gave us our own table in the middle of the bandstand, surrounded by violinists and rose petals.
"Everyone else was eating off the bandstand - it was the most awkward experience."
It seems Love Island's new set has impressed the 35-year-old, with Flack sharing a few snaps from the resort.
Arriving in Majorca, she proved the show's new home is definitely one for sparking romance.
Taking to Instagram, she shared a photo of a huge four-poster bed and fairy lights!
Beneath her snap she wrote: "Who's live studio is this???? Interview in a bed anyone? Love Island ;)."
Love Island begins on ITV2 on Sunday at 9pm.
