Louis Walsh: I might do I'm A Celebrity but you won't catch me on Strictly
He’s a reality TV veteran but Louis Walsh has said he would never follow in Daniel O’Donnell’s footsteps and compete on Strictly Come Dancing.
However, the former X Factor judge (63) hasn't ruled out doing I'm a Celebrity in the future
“I did meet I’m A Celebrity and I did say no to that. It’s no - for now. I would [be great on it], I’d probably win it,” he said.
Louis said there's too much work involved with the long hours in rehearsals of Strictly.
“Never. I would never do it - it’s too much hard work,” Louis said.
However Louis didn’t rule out appearing on another hit reality series in the future.
The Mayo man was on hand today to launch this year’s Junk Couture Young Designers Competition with Bank Of Ireland.
“I was a judge last year and I couldn’t believe the talent and the originality of the kids. This is where we’re probably going to find the next great designer like John Rocha, Louise Kennedy or Paul Costello,” he said.
“My judging skills never left me - I have an opinion and that’s all you need to be a judge.”
