Kerry in tears as she's booted off ice
Reality television star and former 'Queen of the Jungle' Kerry Katona has skated off Dancing On Ice.
Katona revealed she had booked a holiday with her children in anticipation of her exit.
Judges Jason Gardiner, Robin Cousins and former Spice Girl Emma Bunton opted to save presenter Jeff Brazier after a more impressive technical performance in the skate-off.
Katona was criticised by the panel earlier in the show for her defeatism and came bottom of the judges' leader board with just nine points.
An emotional Katona broke down in tears as she said: "It's been more than a skating competition. My kids are proud of what I've done."
She paid tribute to her skating partner Dan Whiston, adding: "A massive thank you to Daniel for all your patience... you've all been brilliant and I've enjoyed it."
All eight celebrity skaters had to complete an ultimate skills test during the show, incorporating a step sequence, jump and spin into their routines. Nickelodeon presenter Laura Hamilton received the highest score of 25.5 for her difficult routine.
Cousins said: "It was fantastic, a great performance", but added the dismounts from the lifts were "clunky".
Former EastEnders actor Sam Attwater also notched up an impressive 24.5 for his daring choreography, which featured the risky "headbanger" move, leaving his partner Brianne Delcourt's hair skimming the ice as he spun her around by her feet.
Cousins said it was "great to see you pushing yourself at this level". Model and presenter Chloe Madeley was cheered on by mother Judy Finnigan and father Richard Madeley scoring 18.5. Bunton said she loved the fact Madeley did not shy away from difficulty in her routines, but sensed "a tiny bit of nervousness". Victoria Cross winner Johnson Beharry scored 14.5.
Gardiner said although the skips and jumps were "quite fair" there was still a little bit of presentation missing.
Rapper Vanilla Ice notched up 22.5 -- his best score, dancing to his own song Ice Ice Baby. Cousins called it the "best overall performance of the night", while Bunton joked "I'm a huge fan all over again."
Loose Women host and actress Denise Welch also pulled off an improved routine, scoring 16.5.
