It's Glee at Sky as it grabs hit TV show

Glee, the all-singing all-dancing TV hit show, is to be screened on Sky from this autumn.

The first two series of the US musical drama were shown on digital channel E4, but parent company Channel 4 walked away from negotiations on the rights to broadcast the show last month.

A source said at the time that they did not want to pay "over the odds" for the high-school comedy drama. It first aired in the UK in 2009 and became E4's biggest hit with more than two million viewers, winning four Emmy awards.

Today's announcement means all future series of the Fox show will be shown on Sky 1 HD.
