In the first of two programmes dietitian Anu Bhatia explains the potentially deadly consequences of quick-fix diets such as the cabbage soup diet, the Bovril diet and the maple syrup diet. Dawn French has got it sussed when she says the only weight strategy that works is the one entitled 'eat less'.
