Eco warrior

The 11th Hour: TG4, 9.15pm Movie star Leonardo DiCaprio shows his more serious side tonight. He fronts a warts- and-all investigation which suggests our natural world is under increasing threat.



The report includes striking images of disasters, including floods, wildfires, earthquakes, melting ice caps, plus the risk to endangered animals.

Saturday Night with Miriam

RTE1, 9.45pm RTE's golden girl shows once again just how good she is at mixing light and heavy topics.

The guests are hardly ever in the mega-star league and we may have heard most of them tell us their stories before -- but Miriam's subtle skill is in drawing them out that bit further and revealing a little more of themselves.



DOUBLE ACT

Penn & Teller: Fool Us UTV, 8pm Jonathan Ross presents as the world-famous duo challenge aspiring illusionists to stun them with their tricks. The would-be stars have to perform their most baffling illusions in front of a studio audience. Tonight's hopefuls include a comedian/magician and a card trickster.



LATE NIGHT ROCK

Glastonbury 2011

BBC2, 9.45pm A chance to see the excellent Coldplay perform live. It's their third time to play at the festival in a decade.

There are also highlights of performances by Elbow, Paulo Nutini, Glasvegas and a host of other talented artists. Jo Whiley and Lauren Laverne are among the hosts.
