JAMIE'S GREAT BRITAIN
Channel 4, 9pm
Cheeky chappie chef Jamie Oliver kicks off his road-trip close to home in the East End of London. Some of his ancestors ran pubs there until his family eventually moved out to Essex, where he was born.
Jamie tells the story of the East End (cue memories of the Kray Twins and, who knows, a recipe for 'Kray' Fish?), a place where many immigrants have traditionally arrived in the UK -- which is why it has always been a melting pot of culinary cultures.
