Ricky Gervais, Karl Pilkington and Stephen Merchant engage in more animated debate as they trade verbal blows over strange and downright bizarre topics. Viewers get to see the threesome in cartoon format which adds greatly to the all-round silliness of the banter. Tonight, natives of Papua New Guinea get a ribbing. Oh, and Karl defends the benefits of facials.

glee Channel 4, 8pm

Glee fans should savour the last six episodes of the series. Once again, Sue Sylvester is out to make everyone's lives a misery. This time she's putting the Cheerios on a strict diet so as they'll look their best for a magazine feature. Everyone's spirits are lifted, however, with Mercedes Jones' rendition of Christina Aguilera's Beautiful.

the big story RTE1, 8.30pm

Niall O'Dowd is a highly regarded Irish journalist working in the US. He emigrated there more than 30 years ago and founded the Irish Voice newspaper which targets Irish emigrants Stateside. Tonight, he recalls some of the stories he covered over the years, in particular the political wrangling behind the Good Friday Agreement.

After five and a half years playing the role of Stacey Branning, actress Lacey Turner (left) has revealed she's to quit the soap this year. Her character has had quite an eventful run on Albert Square. From falling in love with Bradley Branning, to sleeping with his dad, to caring for her bipolar mum Jean, she's done it all.
