While Tubridy, O'Callaghan and Kenny could afford to stroll through some of Grafton Street's most upmarket stores, the Carrigstown characters were largely confined to Penneys.
The 47 actors cost €51,209 last year, which is just over €1,000 per character for a programme that airs several times every week. Between May and January of this year they spent another €23,952.
