Apprentice promises even bigger egos and mistakes

The new series of TV3's The Apprentice will show bigger egos making bigger mistakes, a TV insider has revealed.

Bill Cullen's new budding entrepreneurs promise to be the most entertaining yet.

This year, the winner will become Bill's business partner -- with Bill (inset below) owning a 50pc stake in the business.

The source said: "They're very different types of competitors this year to the last few years -- they're more arrogant, more egotistical, challenging, and they think that they're smart and that they can tick certain boxes."

This year's spirited bunch have come from all corners of the country and abroad to get a chance at setting up their own business with Bill's help.

One of the contestant travelled from as far as Melbourne, Australia, to take part in the show.

Cavan native Aisling Smith is only 25 but she believes her global experience will give her the edge.

Louise O'Hara (29) said that she will win the Apprentice and that she turned down three jobs to take part in the series.

"Honestly, I reckon that [Bill] could do with someone who is sound-minded, energetic and someone who doesn't just blow their trumpet for the sake of it," the Foxford, Co Mayo, native said.
