It will be star-studded occasion in Dublin tonight when singer Andrea Corr marks her 40th birthday in style.
The private star will enjoy her milestone birthday with a top secret bash in a city centre restaurant.
The mum of two will be joined by family and close friends, including her husband, financier Brett Desmond, to celebrate the occasion.
The intimate bash will include her Dublin-based sister Caroline and husband Frank Woods and other family members.
Artist Guggi and Gate Theatre artistic director Michael Colgan are on the guest list, while Bono (inset) and wife Ali Hewson are also close friends with Andrea and her family.
Bono celebrated his 54th birthday with Hollywood’s elite in the US last week alongside his daughter Jordan, who had turned 25.
Andrea, who has taken time out from the music industry in recent years to concentrate on being a mother, is looking forward to letting her hair down and enjoying her birthday.
The youngest of the four Corrs, the Dundalk native hit the big time alongside brother Jim and sisters Caroline and Sharon in the 1990s and was hailed as one of the voices of the decade.
This will be one of her first big nights out since giving birth to her son earlier this year.
She gave birth to Brett Jnr in a Washington hospital in January. It was the second baby for the couple, and a younger brother for Jean, who was born in April 2012 and named after Andrea’s late mum.
Little Jean arrived less than three years after Andrea married.
The couple were wed in Co Clare in August 2009 in front of 400 guests, including Bono.
Andrea sold more than 30 million albums with The Corrs before they took a break in 2006. She has said that if she returns to music it will be on her own terms as a working mother.
