GANG drama Love/Hate has been beaten by The Rose of Tralee as the country's favourite show to tweet along to this year.

The winners of the second annual #RaboTweeties show some interesting trends.

Former Miss World and Herald columnist Rosanna Davison is among our favourite celebrities on Twitter, as is One Direction's Niall Horan and actress and new mum Amy Huberman.

The Original Rude Boys (@ORBsOfficial) knocked Kodaline (@kodaline) off the top of the twitter chart as Ireland's favourite band in the #TweetieMusic category, while also pipping Hozier (@Hozier) and The Coronas (@TheCoronas) to the post.

Newcomer @boringkearney stormed the voting to take the title of Ireland's best loved parody account.

"Congratulations to all the winners of this year's #RaboTweetie awards and thanks to the thousands of Twitter fans who voted," event organiser Stephen Conmy said last night.

"Ireland is a nation of tweeters and the #RaboTweeties is the first awards show to recognise Irish people and organisations on Twitter," he added.

Among the winners at the awards show at the Sugar Club in Dublin were Vicki Notaro @vickinotaro, Irish Independent, in the #TweetieJournalist category.
