Porno documentary for RTE schedule

RTE has commissioned a documentary on the subject of pornography.

Animo Television will be taking charge of making the show, which is the same company behind Norah Casey's programme 'The Takeover' and 'Celebrity Bainisteoir.'

They have been looking for contributors for the production, asking people aged 18-80 to lend their views to the documentary.

The company has also contacted a number of high-profile women on Twitter seeking their views, including Mairead Farrell, Jenny Kelly, Jenny Huston and Amanda Brunker, calling on them to get involved.

Animo has also communicated with an Irish glamour model named Tilly McReese, who describes herself as an "all natural girl next door" and is based in the US.

Former porn star Sammie Kane has also been messaged by the company as they endeavour to get a range of views for the documentary, which is due to feature in the Autumn/Winter schedule.

Animo Television is owned by Adrian Lynch, who is due to step down from the company in November and is in the process of selling his shares in the firm before taking up the reigns as controller of RTE One.

An RTE spokeswoman said: "As channel controller for RTE One, he will not have any commissioning powers or editorial input in any Animo productions for RTE Television." Lynch succeeds George Dixon in the high-profile role.
